Clara Ruth Light

Clara Ruth Light, 81, of the Beech Creek Community, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Greeneville, TN and had resided most of her life in Rogersville. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Mattie Wines; daughter, Connie Lucas; son, Billy Lucas; and brother, Roy Wines.

Clara is survived by her son, Tommy Lucas and wife, Susie; grandchildren, David Lucas and wife, Betty Jo, Jessica Booker Zuniga and husband, Paco, Donita Manis and husband, Fred, Teresa Roberts and husband, Jeff, Todd Lucas and wife, Mikki, Frances Dykes, and Lonnie Dykes; sister, Euna Casteel; brother, Johnny Wines; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Pete Smith officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
