Clarence Shelton Sr

Clarence Shelton, Sr., 78, of Gray, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Virginia Shelton.
He is survived by his son, JR Shelton, Johnson City; daughter, Sheila Shelton, Kingsport; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many, many children that were thought of as grandchildren; and other family members, Kim Holt and Mark Holt and their families.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Fall Branch Chapel. The service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Larry Bledsoe officiating.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Limestone. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
