Clay Bowser, Jr., 62, of Church Hill, died at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 06, 2009, at Holston Manor after a courageous struggle with cancer. Born in Kingsport, he was a graduate of Sullivan High School and attended Steed College. Clay had a great love for his family, a contagious laugh, a passion for golf and a love for fishing. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie Jennings-Bowser, Church Hill; two daughters, April Shultz and husband Bobby, Toccoa, GA, and Patty Tidwell and husband Tommy, Auburn, GA; his parents, Clay and Mary Nell Bowser, Kingsport; stepdaughter Deanna Gullotta and husband Tony, San Diego, CA; stepson Robert Jennings, II, Reno, NV; and sister Jane Jackson and husband Lanny, Mt. Carmel.
At Clay's request there will be no services.
