Cleo Hughes

Cleo Atwood Hughes, 78, "Aunt Tie", of Kingsport was called home at 4:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Wexford House. Born in Hawkins County, she resided in Church Hill until moving to Kingsport in 1966. Miss Hughes had done baby-sitting most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, Barton J. and Loretta Hughes; two sisters, Joyce Hughes, Katie Hughes; five brothers, James Edward, Charles, Claron, Clifton, and Clayton Hughes.

Survivors include her niece, Brenda Morelock; nephew, Lawrence Hughes; special great-niece, Caitlan Bryant and special nephew, Brett Hughes.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jon Rogers Graveside services will be held at a later date at Browns Mountain Cemetery.
