Clifford "Bob" Gregg

Clifford “Bob” Gregg, 73 of Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Bob was a construction worker, but his heart was in gardening and loved sharing with his neighbors. He loved raising beagles and hunting with his brothers and nephews until his illness prevented him from doing so.

Bob was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Nancy Gregg; second wife, Sue Gregg; infant son; parents, Marcell and Stella Gregg; five sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include daughter, Amanda Gregg; son, B. J. Gregg; four stepsons, James Stroupe and wife, Brandi, Scott, Steven and John Stroupe; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Lynda Milam and husband, Steve and Fannie Compton; two brothers, Ed Gregg and wife, Joyce and Larry Gregg and wife, Sandy; and many nieces and nephews that he thought the world of.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dean Presnell and Pastor Eddie McAmis officiating. 

Burial will follow in Fairview Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
