Clora Belle Bishop
Clora Morelock Bishop, 82, Lone Star Community, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Bishop was a daughter of the late Nelson and Oma Hickman Morelock.
She attended Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bishop June 1985, two sisters, Dorothy Rines and Linda Skelton; and two brothers, Herbert and Monroe Morelock.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Malone and Carolyn Fugate; one son, Roy Glen Bishop; three granddaughters, Lora Carper, Sherry Lawson, and Kristy Fugate; three great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elsie Smith, Irene Light, Liza Webb, and Edith Arnold; special cousin, Dorothy and Clint Penley, several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours are 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes and any time at the home of the daughter, Carolyn Fugate.
Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the Fall Branch Chapel with Rev. Bob Simpson and Rev. David Morelock officiating.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Lone Star Cemetery.
