Clyde Click, 85, of Mount Carmel, went to be with the Lord peacefully on March 14, 2025. Clyde was born and raised in Hawkins County and graduated from Church Hill High School in 1957. Following his graduation, Clyde served in the U.S. Army for 8 years. After serving in the Army, Clyde began working a life-long career in the shoe industry. He worked at many local shoe stores and retired from Johnny’s Shoe Store. When Clyde was not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his family and friends. Clyde was a born again Christian and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mount Carmel.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Eula Click; parents, Orbin and Beatrice Click; sisters, Betty Huffman, Faye Lawson, Pat Huffman; and brother, Bob Click.
Survivors include his son, Tony (Jami) Click and daughter, Pam Pearson; grandchildren, Drew (Kayla) Click, Maggie (Jon) Holmes and Dustin Boring; great-granddaughter, Madilynn Holmes; sister-in-law, Linda Click; and numerous special friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Mountain Home VA Hospital in Johnson City.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00am, at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Tony Click, Drew Click, Hunter Adams, Bob Larkins, Jon Holmes and Daniel Henard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Huffman, Bill Huffman, Wayne Jennings and Joey Arnold.
