Clyde C. Correll

Clyde C. Correll, 89, of Kingsport, TN, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Preston Place II after a brief illness.  Clyde was born in Duquesne, PA and was raised in Jonesborough. He served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean conflict. Clyde worked in the car/auto sales business for over 60 years.  He was a longtime member of Oakwood Forest Christian Church.  Clyde was a simple man who lived his life loving and serving his Lord and his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Gott Correll; and 3 brothers, Robert Correll, Jerry Correll and Billy Correll.

Clyde is survived by 2 daughters, Teresa East and husband, Todd, and Robin Roller and husband, Kent; son, Chad Correll and wife, Beth, all of Kingsport; 5 grandchildren, Rachel, Carson, Skylar, Hayden and Spencer; 2 step-grandchildren, Kent and Stephanie; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and lifelong friends, Janice and Suzi Hill, and Angela Hamilton Armetta.

The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 pm on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm with Dr. Ed Clevinger, Minister officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Mountain Home National Cemetery.  Family members will serve as pallbearers.
