"Coach" Richard Dickie Warren

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Nancy Oxley Warren; his parents, Raymond L. Warren and Dorothy Gentry Warren; his brother, Al Warren; his sister, Judy Fox (Gene Fox); and son-in-law, Terry Utsman.

Dickie is survived by his daughters, Becky Weatherford, Sheri Utsman (Terry), and Beth Hare (Hank); grandchildren, Marti Coates (Tim), Andrew Weatherford (Haylie), Timothy Weatherford, Philip Weatherford (Erika), Josh Utsman (Becky), Brianna Utsman, Brian Utsman, Alyssa White (Noah), Eric Hare, and Jenna Hare; great-grandchildren, Justin Coates, Bridgette Coates, Molly Coates (Eben Murdock), Kadin Coates, Beckham Weatherford, Kallie Weatherford, Hadley James Weatherford, Ava Utsman, Lyra Utsman, Quentin Utsman, and Finnleigh White; great-great grandchildren, Kylie Coates, Jake Meade, Ruby Browder, Declan Murdock, and Juniper Murdock; sister, Mary Smith (Roger); brother, Mike Warren (Kayla); sister-in-law, Harriett Warren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Sullivan Central Middle School (former Sullivan Central High School) in the Dickie Warren Dome.  The funeral service will follow with Pastor Roy Graves officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023, at East Lawn Memorial Park.  

Pallbearers will be Brian Utsman, Andrew Weatherford, Timothy Weatherford, Philip Weatherford, Josh Utsman, Kadin Coates, Eric Hare, Hank Hare and Tim Coates.  Honorary pallbearers will be all former Central Basketball players.
