Connie Fay Booker
Connie Fay Booker, 53, formerly of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 9, 2007, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia.
She was a loving mother, full of laughter, and will be missed by those who loved her.
Preceding her in death were her father, George Woodard Hutchins; her mother, Grace Overbay Hutchins; and two sisters, Louise McGuire and Neil Hicks.
Survivors include her fiancé, Charles Brewer; one son, Johnny Hutchins and fiancée, Michelle Swafford; two grandchildren, Brooke Hutchins, Timothy Cutshaw; two sisters, Ruth Jones and Margaret Hutchins; four brothers, Joe, Donnie, Paul, and Wayne Hutchins; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Gene Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
