Connie Donita Lucas

Connie Lucas, 54, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at Bristol Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Greeneville, Tennessee and had resided in Kingsport for several years. Connie was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed drawing and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Lucas.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Donita Lee Manis and husband Fred, of Greeneville; two grandsons, Caleb Payne and Austin Peters; mother, Clara Ruth Light, of Rogersville; brother, Tommy Lucas and wife Susie, of Rogersville; two nieces, Teresa Roberts and husband Jeff, and Jessica Bernal; two nephews, Todd Lucas and David Lucas; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Pete Smith officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Mount Carmel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
