Connie M. Grogg

Connie Malone Grogg, 74, Kingsport, passed away from this life on Tuesday, October 16th from an affliction in her body. Born in Sullivan County, Connie had resided in Kingsport for most of her life. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents: mother, Mary Lee Frazier and father, Homer Malone.

Connie is survived by her husband, Doyle T. Grogg; three daughters, Nikki Harville, Carla Wagers and husband, Jeff, and Marla McLeod and husband, Scott; five grandchildren, Megan Grogg, Tiffany Wagers, Alexis Harville, McKenzie McLeod, and Andrew Banner McLeod; two sisters, Mrs. Sandy Kuhns and husband, Rick, and Mrs. Debbie Valk and husband, Michael; brother, Gilbert Butch Malone and wife, Debby; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18th from 5-7:00 pm at Apostolic Lighthouse. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor David M. Peters and Pastor Greg Street officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 19th at 12:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Malone, Kyle Malone, Jeff Wagers, Scott McLeod, Banner McLeod, Gerald Hurd and Randy Hurd.
