Connie L. Qualls

Connie L. Qualls, 64, Church Hill, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Bristol, VA and had retired from the Kingsport Times News. Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Powers and brother, Sonny Powers.

Connie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Alan Qualls of Church Hill; two sons, Jerry Qualls of Mount Carmel, TN, and Terry A. Qualls and wife, Becky of Church Hill; four grandchildren, Jacob Qualls and wife, Nicole, Jared Qualls, Tucker Qualls, and TaylorAnn Qualls; great-grandson, Camdyn Qualls; father, Calvin Powers and wife, Nancy of Mount Carmel; brother, Alan Powers and wife, Lisa of Foresthill, CA; several nieces and nephews; and her special dog, Toby.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, October 29th at 3:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor David Salley officiating.
