Connie Sue Hutson Miller

Connie Sue Hutson Miller, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016, after a lengthy illness. She was a 1974 graduate of Church Hill High School and worked at Hills Department Store until 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland Hutson and Stella Mae Benton Hutson; sister, Shirley Taylor; and infant siblings, Landon and Mary Alice Hutson.

Connie is survived by her husband, Jack T. Miller; daughter, Sarah A. Rhymer; son-in-law, Charles Rhymer; grandchildren, Lan Rhymer and Grace Rhymer; like-a-daughter, Abigail Whittaker; sisters, Kathy Nelson and husband, Tim, and Janet Crigger and husband, Jim; and brother, Michael Hutson and wife, Coleen.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Tim Nelson officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Gunnings Cemetery in Blountville.

Pallbearers will be Charles Rhymer, Bobby Miller, Jacob Miller, Russel Neumann, Michael Hutson, Marvin Pierson, and Kevin Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home No-Kill Animal Rescue, 2061 Hwy 75, Blountville, Tennessee 37617.
