Cora Williams Dockery

Cora Williams Dockery, of Brookhaven Manor, Kingsport, was called home by her God on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 after an extended illness.

Surviving are her son, Hank Carson Dockery, Fall Branch; daughter, Judy Gail Dockery Shaffer and husband Tommy Daniel, Kingsport; grandchildren, Jason, Heather, Kelly, and Hope; four sisters-in-law, Jerline Dockery Lyons and husband Charles of Edison, TN, Bobbie Jean Dockery Byington and husband Jerry of Clinchport, VA, Olene Williams of Williams Mill, VA, and Nila Williams of Indianapolis, IN: brother-in-law, Gail Dockery and wife Barbara of Gate City, VA; great-grandchildren, Logan and Jacob; five step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. T. Curtis Williams officiating.
