Cotella Reedy Clark

Cotella Reedy Clark, 100, Kingsport, went to be with her husband on March 23, 2016. She started volunteering with the American Red Cross at the age of 90. Cotella enjoyed baking, flowers and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Clyde Clark; children, Jack Allen Clark, Emma Lou Beckowitz, Valis Clark and Anita Newman; sister, Lucille Wilson; brother, Richard Reedy; and sister, Edna Mosley.

Cotella is survived by 5 children, Kathy Cowles and husband, Michael, Faye Gardner and son-in-law (deceased), Glen Gardner, Jean DeMoss and husband, Wayne, Michael Clark and wife, Trish, and Donna Garland and husband, Bob; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Russell Reedy; sister, Della Perkins; nephew, Dennis Mosley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special thanks to the nurses of Medi Home Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12-2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross, 660 Eastern Star Rd., Kingsport, TN 37663.
