Craig B. Hall, 54, of Mt. Carmel died Monday morning, March 10, 2008, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Wayne, Michigan, he had resided in Kingsport Bloomingdale Community most of his life. Craig was a truck driver and an avid race fan and fisherman.
His father, James Lawson; and stepfather, Glen Davis, preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Trish Reed and husband Andrew of Knoxville; a son, Brandon Hall, Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren, Olivia Grace Reed and Ethan Thomas Hall; his mother, Billie Davis, Newberry, Florida; one sister, Linda Bekner, Trenton, Florida; four brothers, Robert Lawson of Kingsport, Roy Lawson of Plant City, FL, Scott Lawson of Gainesville, FL, Paul Lawson of Newberry, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Lelbert Thornburg officiating.
In keeping with Craig's wishes, after the funeral service his body will be cremated.
