Craig Stephen Childress
Craig Stephen Childress, 48, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Kingsport on May 22, 1969, a son of the late Lester Gaines and Judith Ann Childress, he had resided in this area his entire life. He was a 1987 graduate of Sullivan North High School. Craig had been employed at Flor Daniels.
He is survived by his brother, Duane Childress and wife, Tracy of Kingsport; sister Melissa Childress of Greeneville, TN; 2 nieces, Siara Piage Childress and Troi October Childress; and special friends, Scotty and Patsy Allison, and Kathy and her children.
A special thank you to Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center for all the care they extended to Craig.
Burial services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at East Tennessee Cemetery.
