Crystal Michele Miller

Crystal M. Miller, 32, of Mt. Carmel, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2010, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Portsmouth, VA, and grew up in Virginia, moving to Mt. Carmel one year ago. She was a graduate of Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake, VA. She was a past Honor Queen of Bethel #11 of the International Order of Jobe's Daughters in Chesapeake, VA. She was a youth leader of Deep Creek Baptist Church in Chesapeake. Crystal enjoyed singing and living life in a very energetic way. She also loved children and they loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Miller; maternal grandparents Robert and Florine Sonney; and paternal grandparents Charles and Martha Miller.

Surviving her are her mother, Susan Miller, of Limestone; two sisters, Kellie Allison and husband Shawn, of Chesapeake, VA, and Tammie Miller, of Limestone; fiancé Jim Bob Reed, of Mt. Carmel; and Jim Bob's children, Faith, Kayla, and Hope, to whom Crystal was a special mom; uncle and aunt Rob and Carol Sonney, of Johnson City; special friends Treasa and Jeff Goode, and their children, Zach and Chris Goode; nieces Ashleigh Kuhlmann, Hannah Allison, and Elizabeth Allison; and nephew Shawn Allison, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes. Services will follow at 2:00, with Rev. Mike Hubbard and Robert Sonney, Jr., officiating. Music will be provided by Renae Norton.

Burial will be at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesborough. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Goode, Chris Goode, Zach Goode, Jim Bob Reed, Shawn Allison, and Shawn Allison, Jr.
