Cynthia Deal Hagey Ford

Cynthia Deal Hagey Ford, 76, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday evening, October 15, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Cynthia was born in Kingsport and was a graduate of Lynn View High School, of where she was a majorette in the band. Cynthia was a lifelong real estate broker in Kingsport and served as the last president of Kingsport Board of Realtors before its merger.

Cynthia was preceded in death by parents, Jim and Geneiva Deal; and brother, Jim Deal, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Denver (Denny) Ford; two daughters, Jennifer Farnsworth and husband, Bill, Christy Kenster; two sons, Howard Ford and wife, Susie, Chris Ford; two grandchildren Harrison and Oliva Keen; sister, Pamela Christian; several cousins, aunts, and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ed Clevenger, Minister officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
