Dale Fink

Dale Fink, 80, Jonesborough, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his home on Monday, January 22, 2018. Dale had retired from Tennessee Eastman Company. He loved the outdoors, especially gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dale is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Meade Fink; 2 daughters, Donna Light and husband, Nathan, and Beverly McConnell and husband, Tony; 2 sons, Roger Fink and wife, Cara, and Keith Fink; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Kate Grills, Mae Fink and husband, Clay, Louise Shaffer and Wanda Bentley; 2 brothers, Bill Fink and wife, Lula, and Jim Fink and wife, Debbie; and several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Avalon Hospice and especially nurse Daniel White for the loving care that was given to Dale.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Anthony Dickens officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Eastern Star Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon McConnell, Justin McConnell, Dustin Light, David McConnell, Tyler Fink and Tanner Fink.
