Daniel Strickler

Daniel Strickler, beloved husband, Daddy and Paw Paw entered heaven Friday, November 30, 2012. He is now rejoicing with family and friends at the feet of Jesus, his Lord and Savior.

Daniel was a member of Charity Baptist Church and a retiree of Eastman Chemical Company. He always put God first in his life and had deep love for his family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his mother and father, Oscar and Cora Strickler; brothers, Denver and Sherman; sisters, Lula May, Mary Edith, Hope, Helene and Zula Bell.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Lorie and Shannon Mitchell of Blountville; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel "Danny" Brent and Angela Strickler of Scottsburg, Indiana; grandsons and delight of his life, Jeffrey Austin Mitchell and Seth Earrion Strickler; special friends, Dannie and Jan Jones of Kingsport and Emerson and Kitty Williams of Bristol, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Charles Brooks and Rev. Perry Cleek officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Monday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
