Danny Barnette

Danny Barnette, 48, of Church Hill, went to be the Lord peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2011. He attended Dobyns-Bennett High School and worked in maintenance at Tennessee Electric.

He was preceded in death by his father, Amos Barnette and brother, Jack Barnette.

Danny is survived by his companion, Vicky Barnette; son, Dustin Barnette and fiancée, Kayla; two grandchildren, Bradyn and Kylie; mother, Kathleen Barnette; three sisters, Joyce Mullins, Helen Sensabaugh and husband, Andy, and Joan Light and husband, Carl, Jr.; four brothers, Elmo Barnette, Lonnie Barnette and wife, Debbie, Roger Barnette and Joe Barnette and wife, Clenita; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church, Mt. Carmel or at anytime at the home of his mother. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, December 29th at 11 a.m. at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
