"D.B." Danny F. Busler, Jr., of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 6, 2008.
Born in Buchanan County, VA, he had resided in Kingsport since he was 10 years old. Danny was a graduate of Volunteer High School and had been employed at Arby's in Colonial Heights for the past several years. Danny had a heart of gold.
His grandparents, Mary Salyer, Fred and Grace Busler; and uncle, Don Busler preceded him in death.
Surviving are his parents, Pamela and Jerry Davis of Church Hill and Danny Sr. and Martha Busler of Mount Carmel; one sister, Maryanne Busler of Kingsport; one brother, Robert Busler of Kingsport; nieces, Alexis Brianna, Emma Rose, and very special niece, Emily Christine; two stepsisters, Jackie Taylor of Kingsport and Ann Darnell of Gate City; grandfather, Rev. Robert W. Salyer of Kingsport; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Ralph Sluss of Castlewood, Dale and Shirley Busler of Kingsport, Donna and Sam Dandy of Appalachia, VA, and Kathy and Donnie McGuire of Church Hill; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Myers Vicars officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Robert Busler, Michael Brooks, Brian Waters, Stephen Black, Andy Venters, and Brian Harmon.
