Darrell Ellis Light

Darrell Light 61, of the Beech Creek Community in Rogersville, went to be with the Lord July 26, 2009 on Wilcox Hall at Wellmont HVMC.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Light; and two brothers, Earl and Billy Light.

Surviving are his lifelong companion, Mary Sue Killion; daughter, Tammy Killion of Rogersville; son, Allen Killion and wife Kim of Fall Branch; and two granddaughters, Erica Matthews and Kierston Killion.

The family will receive friends from 12noon to 1:00pm Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm at the Fall Branch Chapel with Bro. Bobby Krtausch officiating. Music will be provided by the Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church Choir.

Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Mendenhall, Kevin Mendenhall, Travis Conkin, Randy Conkin, Dillan Dykes, Shane McLain, A.J. Clark, Chad Arnold and Ricky Crawford.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Church Hill EMS, the Dialysis Center 3600 Netherland Inn Road, and also to the Doctors and Nursing staff at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
