David William Barrett

David Barrett, age 47, 1921 Patton Street, Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 7, 2014, after a period of declining health. A son of the late, Elbert P. Barrett and Tennie V. (Tudy) Barrett, he was a lifetime resident of Kingsport. David graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and was currently employed at Rick Hill Imports. He was a member of Fort Robinson Baptist Church.

He is survived by brothers, Wes and wife, Linda, and Robert Lynn, and sister, Barbara and husband, Mac Dorton.

The graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Dustin Allman officiating.
