David C. Hambrick, Jr

David C. Hambrick, Jr., 85, Mountain Home, TN, was called home Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2016, following an extended period of poor health. David was born in Atlanta, GA and resided in Kingsport until going to Mountain Home. He served in the U.S. Army for several years as a chaplain, serving 2 tours in Vietnam. David served as pastor of Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church before retiring in 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and wife, Betty Fleenor Hambrick.

David is survived by 3 children and nephew, Derek Hambrick of Georgia.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 pm at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Chaplain Matthew Marshall officiating. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion posts 3/265.
