David Crabtree
David James-Arnie Crabtree, 31, of Kingsport, passed away on March 28, 2009. Formerly a math tutor at Northeast State Technical Community College, David was the Choir Director at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Kingsport.
He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Crabtree; maternal grandparents, Arnie and Nellie Charlton; and paternal grandparents, James H. and Mary Edyth Crabtree.
Surviving are a sister, Annette Crabtree Hunt and husband Darrel Hunt of Kingsport; one very special nephew, Benjamin A. Hunt of Kingsport; step-father, Powell Williams of Kingsport; two step-brothers, Gary Williams and wife Christy of Mohawk, TN; Greg Williams and wife Tammy of Chuckey; and one step-sister, Gail Hutson and husband Terry of Kingsport.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 3, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the home of Annette and Darrel Hunt, 736 Harbor Springs Road in Kingsport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church, 5825 Ft. Henry Drive, Kingsport, TN 37663.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Chuckey, TN, with Rev. Charles Echols officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Myers Jr., Gary Williams, Greg Williams, John Osborn, Tony Rutledge and Brett Charlton.
