David "Jim" Moody

David "Jim" Moody, 58, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a graduate of Sullivan West High School. David had worked at Hurd Lock Crossings Golf Course and owned and operated his own lawn service. He was a member of Mountain Trail Riders Association. David had just recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Ruby and Jim Sarver; father, Troy Moody; uncle, Jack Parton; and aunt, Louise Barnes.

David is survived his wife, Robin Mullenix Moody; his special buddy, Zeke; brother, Tim Moody and wife Debbie; mother-in-law, Irene Mullenix; special friend, Reba Shelby; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Strong officiating.

Entombment services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at East Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Lawson, Mike Lawson, Logan Lawson, Brandon Lawson, Gavin Lawson, Justin Lawson, Caleb Elliot, Indiana Calloway, and Wayne Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Burke and Randy Rodefer (whom were like brothers to him); special friends, Mike Depew, Greg Stacy, Roland Davis, and the gang at Munchies.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Holston Home for Children, 404 Holston Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743.
