David S. Mayberry, 46, died unexpectedly at his home in Maryville, TN on Friday June 19, 2009.
David was born August 4, 1962, in Kingsport and attended Sullivan County schools. He was active in community youth sports in his early years. David was a member of the Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church.
David moved to the Knoxville area where he worked for a number of years in the food industry. He enjoyed fishing the TVA lakes with his friends.
Surviving are his parents, Gerald and Wanda Mayberry, Kingsport; sister, Susan Snyder and husband, Carl, Naperville, IL; brother, Daniel Mayberry and wife, Krista, Greenville, SC; and two nieces, Stephanie Snyder and Caroline Snyder.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. David A. Cagle and Rev. L. Craig Foster officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church, 100 West Church Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660.
