David Alan Street
David Alan Street, 46, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 16, 2013, at the VA Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born in Olney, Maryland and had resided in Kingsport for the past 5 years. David was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and attended Providence Church in Church Hill.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Grayson Street.
David is survived by daughter, Amanda Street of Fuquay-Varina, NC; mother, Alma Street of Kingsport; life partner, Deborah Woodard, of Kingsport; sister, Rhonda Steffey of Kingsport; niece, Teigha Maxey; nephew, Nicholas Morris and wife, Kayla; and great-niece, Natalie Morris.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Providence Church, 710 Ordnance Dr., Church Hill, TN, with Pastor Joel Trigg officiating.
The family requests no flowers, but donations be given to the family to help with final expenses.
