David A. Webb, 60, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer.
He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. David was the owner of Webb Tree Service and Landscaping.
David was a member of the Kingsport Evangel Family Worship Center. He loved to play his guitar and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son.
His father, Hobert Webb, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Webb of Kingsport; three daughters, Alisha Webb and fiancé Joey McCrary of Kingsport, Melissa Weatherly and husband Ronnie of Church Hill, and Kim Dorton of Kingsport; one son, Justin Webb of Sturgill, Michigan; six grandchildren, Justin Monk, Bradley Dorton, Adrian Dorton, Brayden McCrary, Jordan Webb, and Faith Webb; his mother, Elizabeth Webb of North Port, Florida; three sisters, Sue Thomas and husband Alvin of Kingsport, Debbie Mowdy and husband J. R. of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Sheila Hay and husband Jeff of North Port, FL; one brother, Gary Webb and wife Lorraine of Sarasota, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. with Ed Clevinger, Minister officiating.
