David A. White
David A. White, 57, of Kingsport, died Friday Dec. 24, 2010 at his home.
David was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. He was an employee of White Floral Company for a number of years.
David was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Frank White.
Survivors include his daughter, Beth White, and her fiancé, Michael Scripa of Knoxville; a sister, Martha Masterson and her husband Gary of Knoxville; a brother, Ronnie White and his wife Janis of Kingsport; and two nephews, Adam Masterson of Knoxville, and Andrew Masterson and his wife Julie, also of Knoxville.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 6 p.m. Monday Dec. 27, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Don Hanshew and Rev. Melissa Smith officiating.
Graveside services will be in East Lawn Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Scripa, Adam Masterson, Andrew Masterson, Gary Masterson, and employees of White Floral Company.
