David O. Williams, 55, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday May 8, 2009 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
David was born and spent his life in Kingsport. He was co-owner and operator of Aurawood Plumbing with his wife, Helen. He loved and lived life to the fullest. David had a great love for his companion dogs.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Williams; son, Jonathan Bradley Williams; and sister, Shandra Perry.
Surviving are his wife, Helen D. Williams, Kingsport; daughter, Jessica Rheanne Williams, Kingsport; son, David Ryan Williams, Kingsport; special granddaughter, Keegan Williams; father, Bill Williams, Kingsport; sister, Bonnie Marshall and husband, Larry, Great Falls, MT; brother, Howard Williams and wife, Nancy, Kingsport; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, or anytime at the home. Services will be at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry DeVault and Gene Marshall officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Allen Marshall, Earl Mowell, Jr., Donnie Flanary, Bob Flanary, Tom Slaughter, Mike Hurd, Greg Kimball, Brian Estepp, Tony Erwin, Rick Smith, and Johnny Peters.
