Dorothy B. Swenson, age 88, of Lincoln, California passed away Wednesday October 24, 2012 following a brief illness.
A native of Kingsport, she moved to California in her twenties. She was self employed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Clayton and Hazel Hensley.
Surviving are her son, Steven Swenson of Sunnyvale, California, granddaughter, Stephanie Swenson-Rasmussen, two great grandchildren, Christian Johnson and Farrah Rasmussen, first cousins, George and Edna Williams and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10-12noon Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
A graveside service will follow at 12:30pm in Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating.
