DeAnna S. Phillips, 77, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 4, 2016 at her residence following a short period of declining health. She passed away peacefully, with her family by her side. DeAnna will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedysis Hospice.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gilbert L. Phillips.
Survivors include Bill Cowden; son, Gary Phillips and wife Lourdes; daughters, Vikki Batson and husband Bill, and Susan D. Begley and husband Ed; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and brother, Bob Freeman.
Graveside services only at 1:45 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Chaplain Tom Edwards will officiate.
Those attending committal services are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:30 p.m. Friday.
