Debby Suit, 59, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 5, 2009 at Indian Path Medical Center.
Raised in Franklin, NC, she had resided in Sullivan County for most of her adult life. Debby was retired from East Tennessee State University.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Suit.
Surviving are her daughter, Laura Hite and husband, Ronnie, Kingsport; grandchildren, Montana Hite and Marina Hite; mother, Ceil Suit, Kingsport; and brother, Curt Suit and wife, Christine, NJ; and two nephews, Carl Suit and James Suit, both of NJ.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A celebration of Debby?s life will be at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association, 900 East Hill Avenue, Suite 240, Knoxville, TN 37915.
