Deborah Jean Coates

Deborah Jean Coates, 53, of Fall Branch went to be with the Lord Friday May 23, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Alexandria, VA. She was raised in Manasas, VA. and had resided in Fall Branch since 1994. Deborah was an LPN and had worked in nursing for more than 30 years. She was a Baptist, avid reader, collector of antiques and wrote poetry.

She was preceded in death by her father George W. Coates, brother, George W. Coates, Jr and an infant sister Margaret Grace Coates.

Surviving are two sons, George Coates and wife Jessie, Fall Branch; Jason Coates of the home; mother, Anna L. Coates Kolarsky, Fall Branch; three sisters, Peggy Welsh and husband Ron, Spring, TX., Donna Davis, Fall Branch, Dee Dee Booher and husband Anthony, Blountville; two brothers, Steve Kolarsky, Mark Kolarsky and wife Lori both of Fall Branch; aunt and uncle, Sam and Pauline Howard, Fall Branch; twelve special nieces and nephews; several cousins and special friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.

Funeral Services will follow at 8pm with Rev. Carl Strickler and Rev. Travis Tyler officiating.

A graveside service will be at 11am Monday in the Howard Family Cemetery, Fall Branch.
