Deborah Lynn Smith
Deborah Lynn Smith passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, November 17, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born November 30, 1967 in Kingsport, Tennessee and attended Dobyns-Bennett High School. Debbie was employed at Wal-Mart #742 until her illness.
She was preceded in death by her father Denver Jackson Barnette.
Survivors include her husband Walter Ronald Smith Jr.; daughters Jessica Dawn Smith and Brandi Lynn Smith of the home; her mother Linda Barnette of Kingsport, Tennessee; her sisters Rhonda Griffith, Kingsport, Tennessee and Kristi Calton, Kingsport, Tennessee and several nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating.
Graveside services will be on Saturday at Church Hill Memory Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport on Saturday by 1:15 p.m. to line up for the procession.
