Debra J. Monette

Debra J. Monette, age 64, Chuckey, passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on Monday, June 10, 2019.  Debbie lived a wonderful life as a wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a lifetime resident of Fall Branch and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Ruby Lawson; sister, Brenda Davis; and brother, Don Lawson.

Debbie was the beloved wife of Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Robert Monette and cherished mother of Sergeant First Class Robert “Bobby” Monette and wife, Beth, Major Brett Monette and wife, Alisha, and Brandy Couch; proud grandmother to Kara, Aiden, Parker, Leigh Ann, Brooklyn and Treston; dear sister of Nella Phillips and husband, Les, Sandy Owens, Larry Lawson and wife, Carolyn, Virgil Lawson and wife, Darlene, and Clyde Lawson and wife April; sister-in-law to Jean Lawson; special nieces and nephews; and special lifelong friend to Brenda Thornburg and Norma Coward.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor David Bolden officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Friday at 10:45 am at Mountain Home National Cemetery.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
