Debra Sue Neal

Debra Sue Neal, 64, of Blountville, went to be with the Lord, July 26, 2024. She was born May 23, 1960, in Kingsport, TN. Debra was a resident of Blountville for most of her life. She worked for the Sullivan County School Board in the maintenance department. Debra enjoyed cooking, loved going on beach trips and visiting Dollywood. Her dog, Dallas, was very special to her. Family was her entire life; she especially cherished her grandchildren. She was a very spontaneous and outgoing person; known to others as full of life.

Debra was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Neal; daughter, Amanda Neal; parents, Ralph Harkleroad and Helen McKinney Davis; grandparents, Bynum and Virginia McKinney.

Survivors include her children, Danika Neal, Devin Neal, Derek Neal and ex-wife, Brandi Neal; grandchildren, Daimyan Neal, Daysha Neal, Daylon Neal and Dominic Neal; siblings, Terri and Jerry Cradic, Donny Davis, Teresa and Larry Geiger and Sabrina Cox; special aunts, Linda Martin and Kathy Musselman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Piney Flats. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Lockner officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to cover final expenses.
