Delbert Donald Gosch

Delbert Donald "Don" Gosch, formerly of Houston, TX, and most recently of Forest City, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 17th. He was born in Cistern, TX on October 27th of 1932. Don lived a long and full life passing only 10 days shy of turning 80. It would have been a great birthday Daddy.

He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Robert Gosch.

Don leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Gail Cleland Gosch; daughter, Debora Gosch Cowan and her husband, Leland of Rogersville, TN; sister, Ella Faye Peddy King of Katy, TX; six grandchildren, Jennifer Cowan Farmer, Bonnie Cowan Walker, Dusty Rose Gosch, Gary Gosch, Jimmy Gosch, and Donnie Gosch; and six great-grandchildren, Drew Issac Farmer, Summer, Dave and Sadie Walker, and Harleigh and Jude Gosch, and Lexi Rose Raiburn.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21st from 4-5:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm with Rev. David Walker officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, October 22nd, at 2:00 pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Boone Dam VFW #4933. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
