Dennis Ray White, 55, Kingsport, passed away Saturday May 15, 2010 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Sullivan County and was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. Dennis was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Alberta White; nephew, Jessee White; and special aunt and uncle, Baxter and Rose Byerley.
Surviving are his brothers, Danny White and wife, Patricia, Kingsport, and Steve White and wife, Liz, Kingsport; nieces, Stephanie White, Syndi White, and Chasity Farmer; nephew, Connor Eli White; and his two sons, Chris and wife, Stacy, Church Hill, and Brandon, Church Hill.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Travis Boling officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Lovelace Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve White, Danny White, Jerry Byerley, Chris Hill, Brandon Hill, Johnny Hodge, and Dave Ennis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
