Dewey Dewayne Sluder

Dewey Dewayne Sluder went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2017. He was born in West Virginia and served in the Army, but lived most of his life in Kingsport. He worked and retired from the Mead Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Grace Sluder; parents; and 7 siblings.

Dewey is survived by his daughter, Tonya Sluder Jennings, Blountville; two sons, Wade Colton Sluder and wife Donna of Unicoi, and Kevin Dewayne Sluder of Gray; brother, Durrell Sluder and wife Carol of Ormond Beach, FL; granddaughters, Mackenzi Jennings, Payge Weaver, Brooke Barnett, and Alena Sluder; and great granddaughter, Harper Weaver.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Charles Brooks officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
