Dewey Hudson

Dewey Hudson, 79, of Mount Carmel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Thelma Hudson.

Dewey is survived by three daughters: Diana Watkins of Michigan, Vickie Harward of Fall Branch, Tennessee, and Debra Kay Spohn of Florida; two sons: Steve Hudson and Jeff Hudson, both of Michigan; a brother: Leroy Hudson and wife Sue of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; a sister: Kathleen Goodman of North Carolina; a special friend: Marie Sword of Kingsport; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Services will follow at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. with Curtis Hale officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
