Diana M. Clark

Diana M. Clark, 73, of Kingsport, died Thursday morning, June 20, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Kingsport, where she resided all of her life. Diana was a 1963 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended ETSU. She was a homemaker and had been a member of Sunnyside Baptist since 1972 where she was active in the choir, children’s choir, and ladies ministry. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, John Clark.

Diana is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary T. Clark, of the home; one daughter, Greta Gibbons and husband Andrew J. of Kingsport; sons, Jeff Clark and wife Sheila of Gallatin, TN, and Patrick Clark and wife Mariel S. of Knoxville; ten grandchildren, Campbell, Max, Laura Beth, Danielle, Marina, Brice, Jimmie and wife Erika, Vivian, Wyatt, and Ben; two sisters, Connie “Buddie” Fry and Barbara “Bobbie” Donald, both of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019, at Sunnyside Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Roy Graves officiating.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
