Diana "Diann" Long Hollander died late Monday afternoon, December 14, 2009, at Preston Place. A life-long resident of Kingsport, Diann received B.A. and M. A. degrees in History from East Tennessee State University. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Diann was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the DAR, and the Delphian Book Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Maxwell Long and Howard Long.
Surviving are her husband, Ed Hollander, of Kingsport; a brother, Larry Long and wife Catherine, also of Kingsport; a niece, Ellen Liston and husband Scott, of Knoxville; nephews David Long and wife Susan, Knoxville, and Craig Long and wife Jane, Louisville, KY; and cousin Charles Long and wife Virginia, of Blountville.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m.. Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Dr. David A. Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
