Diane Lane Ford

Diane Lane Ford, 50, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord at 11:21 p.m. Monday January 25, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Kingsport, she was a graduate of Sullivan West High School.

Diane was a very loving mother who loved her family and enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling. She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, Mike Ford, and by her grandparents, Elmer & Inez Harrison and Charlie & Maude Lane.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Ford and Michael Blevins of Kingsport, and Amanda Ford Johnson and husband Shannon of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Alyssa Ford, Alexis Ford, Kaleb Johnson, Aiden Ford, and Kaitlynn Johnson; her parents, Charles J. and Bonnie Harrison Lane of Kingsport; her sister, Rebecca Lane Murray and husband Marc of Kingsport; her brother Randal Lane and wife Sue of Surgoinsville; her niece, Bryanna Murray, and her special friend, Willie Gibson.

The family will receive friends anytime at the residence and from 5 to 7 Thursday evening at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Donnie Brannen officiating.

Graveside services will be at 1 pm Friday in East Lawn Memorial Park.
