Diane L. Lewis

Diane L. Lewis, 53, of Kingsport, went home to be with the other angels at 9:30 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2008, at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; never met a stranger; and was loved by all.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Keener Sexton.

Surviving are her husband of 19 years, Robert "Bob" Lewis; two daughters, Angela Bright, Heather Murrell and husband Mike; one son, Robby Lewis; seven grandchildren, Tanner O'Neal, Eli O'Neal, Dalton House, Abby Murrell, Jacob Murrell, Jason Lewis, Ashland Lewis; her mother, Virginia Sexton; two sisters, Pat Whitehead, Sandy Howell and husband Ray; four brothers, Steve "Bo" Sexton and wife Ann, Chris Sexton and wife Kate, David Sexton and wife Darlene, Wayne Sexton and wife Paula; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. J. W. Depew and Rev. Ralph Kidd officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Sexton, Wayne Sexton, Chris Sexton, Steve "Bo" Sexton, David Watkins, and Keith Castle.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the trust fund for Tanner or Eli O'Neal at Eastman Credit Union. In remembrance of Diane, it was her request that everyone pass on a good deed.
