Dollie Bolling Eaton, 87, of Kingsport passed away Friday evening at The Wexford House.

She was born in Pound, Virginia, on February 21, 1926. A daughter of the late Wilson and Josie Bolling, she has resided in this area most of her life. Dollie went to Bolling School at Pound and graduated in 1932. She worked for Western Union during World War II. Dollie later became a homemaker, living in Sullivan Gardens most of her adult life. There she became an adult leader in the PTA, Scouting and 4-H Club. She was very active in Sullivan Baptist Church, where she was the Dorcas Class Leader for many years. Dollie worked as Credit Manager for Sears Roebuck Company for over 20 years. She was a devoted grandmother and was very instrumental in their education and upbringing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garvie L. Eaton in 1976, and several sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her son, Robert and wife, Connie; grandchildren, Tyler and wife, Keturah, Constance "Bunny" and husband, Chris Campbell; great-grandchildren, Keaton Campbell, Joseph and Azariah Eaton, and Everrett Jones.

The graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jack P. Weikel officiating. Those attending the graveside service are asked to assemble at the graveside by 12:15 p.m. on Sunday. Honorary Pallbearers are Tyler Eaton, Joseph Tyler Eaton, Chris Campbell, Bruce Ware, Larry Foster, John Dunnivant, Bruce Hobbs, and Larry Cloud.

Those wishing may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
